White Rabbit Teahouse

Home to two stunning locations in Nottingham, West Bridgford and the City Centre, the White Rabbit Teahouse has plenty of room for you and your party. This venue is the highlight for delicious homemade cakes, scones and light lunches. During your visit to this relaxing afternoon tea haven, you can indulge in one of their three options. You can enjoy the usual three-tiered cake stand including sandwiches, scones and moreish cakes, or you can mix it up with a glass of Prosecco – oh la la! Not to mention, they also have Bottomless Afternoon Teas available.

Colwick Hall Hotel

Experience an afternoon tea with a difference at Colwick Hall Hotel, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Head to the Bryon Brasserie where you’ll find lots of delectable treats. Tuck into delicious finger sandwiches, unique savouries and a range of cakes and desserts (yes, that does include cream teas!) Additionally, Colwick Hall have introduced ‘a spoonful of sugar’, their Mary Poppins inspired menu, available until the end of March 2019. Enjoy their Grand Afternoon Tea coupled with fine blends of tea and coffee, alongside a well-deserved glass of Champagne – yay!

Thea Caffea

Home of all thing’s tea is Thea Caffea, nestled downLow Pavement in the city centre. The family-run business can only be described as an oasis of calm and elegance where you can enjoy great food and drink with friends. During the summer months, venture outside and while away your afternoon from their lovely patio area. Thea Caffea pride themselves on their continual commitment to support local and regional producers. Why not try their ‘Thea Caffea Cream Tea’, two freshly baked afternoon scones, clotted cream and preserve with black treacle, served alongside a pot of English Breakfast Tea or coffee.

The Pudding Pantry

Visit The Pudding Pantry at one of their two locations, Sherwood and Nottingham City Centre, for a delicious afternoon tea. Offering three different options, from their Classic Tea to their High Tea and Sweet Tea – something for everyone. If you decide on their Classic Tea, you’ll receive 2 mini scones, homemade jam and clotted cream with four individually designed cakes and sandwiches. Bring the little ones too and enjoy the ‘kids afternoon tea’ –  a treat for all the family!

Tipsy T

Located on Mapperley Top is Tipsy T, a friendly, independent café bar. Serving locally roasted 200 Degrees coffee and fresh tea from The Tea House in Covent Garden. Choose from a traditional or sparkling afternoon tea for you and your friends, alongside delicious cakes, scones and sandwiches – see for yourself! If you fancy a flavoursome extra, why not have their Sparkling option, offering a glass of Frizzanté or a cocktail with their Tipsy T menu.

The Lace Market Hotel

Browns Bar and Brasserie

After a morning of retail therapy, visit Browns Bar and Brasserie on Park Row for afternoon tea, available daily from 3 – 5:30pm. Home to a selection of butter brioche rolls, home baked buttermilk scones with clotted cream, as well as a variety of mini desserts. Make the experience special with their Champagne Afternoon Tea, where you can enjoy a glass of Moet Champagne or Hendrick’s Gin and Fever-Tree tonic together with your afternoon tea – so treat yourself! Indulge in a glazed lemon tart for afters alongside a loose-leaf tea or artisan coffee.

Debbie Bryan

Situated in a former textile factory is Debbie Bryan, a place to shop, eat, drink and be creative. Home to an award-winning Tea Room you will be well looked after. Try their freshly made finger sandwiches, home-baked sultana scone and sweet treats, together with a warming tea or coffee. Feeling fancy? Why not try their Buck’s Fizz Afternoon Tea – the perfect afternoon with the girls. If you are craving the classic Cake & Cream Tea, fear not as they have that option too! Other choices on their menu include the Champagne and Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea, why not pay them a visit and see what all the fuss is about!
